Karl and Angela Rees

Here we are another week closer to Christmas.  We are looking forward to the holidays.  Karl was busy this last week so he could get everything done before we leave for Texas.  Hopefully he will be able to wrap things up this week. 

Karl played Frisbee on Tuesday while Angela took sleeping Thomas visiting teaching. 

Wednesday we took Thomas to his four month doctor appointment.  We are proud to say he is a healthy big boy.  He weighed 16 lb 4 oz and was 27 inches tall.  That puts him at 75 and 97 percentiles respectively.

Karl was sworn in as a Lawyer on Friday.  Angela and Thomas came by the office.  It was just us and the notary.  How exciting to be official now.  Angela also brought chocolate cake to celebrate.

The big event was when we left Thomas for our very first date since his birth.  Don’t worry--we left him with his Aunt and Uncle.  We went to a fancy work party.  Angela had lobster tail and steak, while Karl had fish.  Karl sang 3 songs in a singing group.  Angela had a caricature drawn.  It was a fun evening.   The price of a pizza was definitely worth the exchange.  We will have to do it again.  At that time of evening Thomas isn’t too bad either.  A little cranky before bed, but he stills falls asleep on his own.  There are a few cries still, but usually they are gone by the time we close the door.  Then he will sometimes talk himself to sleep.
