This week was a busy week. Angela ran a few errands at the beginning of the week and Karl was hard at work. Angela took Thomas to the mall to see Santa. Thomas was nervous at first, be he did sit on Santa's lap. read more »
Brrr. It’s cold out here in California. There’s going to be 3-6 inches in the Santa Cruz Mountains tonight. So between the weather and all the Christmas decorations we put up this week, it really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. read more »
Here we are decorating the tree.
Tuesday we set up our Christmas tree. Thomas had been asking about the tree a lot, so we caved in. But we left putting the ornaments up until after Thanksgiving.
We were in Austin in early August for a very short day for Granpda Nissen's baptism. All of Karl's siblings were there, so it was a fun reunion. Plus, we had a pool party for Thomas' birthday (thanks to Amy for planning it).
We went up to a cabin in Tahoe for a short but sweet extended family reunion back in August.
