Karl and Angela Rees

Well we have pretty much been drowning this week.  It rained every day.  The first 4 days it was a down pour.  Angela and the boys spent a lot of time at home.  We did get out for ABC class and Play group.  We even managed a walk to the grocery store.

Angela took Thomas to spend his $5 Christmas money.  He picked out some matchbox cars.

Friday night was movie night.  We broke out the projector for the first time in forever and watched a movie on the big screen with Thomas.  We saw Cloudy with chance of meatballs.  It was a cute little movie. 

Saturday after Karl installed our toe-kick and staircase we headed out for a stroller trail by the bay.  It was rather muddy but still fun.  Oh why didn’t we bring our hiking shoes after so many days of rain.  It was a nice level trail.  We would like to do it again when we have more time and less mud.  The trail went around the salt pounds of the bay.  

Today, Thomas made it threw half of nursery all by himself.  (not sure what has been into him lately).  After church we went to dinner at a friend’s home.  It was fun to get together.  Thomas sure had fun with his friend Logan.  

Thomas loves to get dress.  One morning we woke to him getting himself dressed.  This has been a nice change to the struggles of getting him dressed in the morning.  The new struggle is that he doesn’t want to be helped.  Most times he does fine.  Another day he changed his shirt 3 times.  Luckily it was just between 2 shirts.  

Thomas delights us with statements like “Mommy, I am a horse”, and praying for “Everyone else there”, 

Jonah is doing well his 2 bottle feedings.  We still think anyday he will be crawling, but who knows maybe he will just move to walking cuz the scotching is just doing him fine.
