This was birthday week for Angela. Thursday there was a yummy tostadas potluck at work for Angela. Friday, Karl prepared a day full of surprises. Karl made Angela French toast for breakfast. When Angela got into her car to go to work in the morning, she found a CD Karl had made. After work, she came home to a clean house. It was very nice. There were also flowers and 3 presents (a sweater, shirt, and Footloose CD--Angela has loved Footloose since she was little, but she never got the CD). When returning from a milk run to the grocery store, be sure to take the milk out of the trunk the same day you buy it.


We’re a little sad that summer is basically over. We went for a picnic on Saturday, thinking it’d be great outside, but it was too cold! It got down to the 40s that night. Summer is just too short. read more »

Last Monday through Thursday involved way too much homework and long nights, so we won’t say much about them. But Labor Day weekend was fun. Friday Angela’s brother Jonathan came home from his mission from Brazil, so we met up with her family at Los Hermanos for dinner. It was yummy food. Jonathan had a hard time speaking English. It was hilarious. He would start in English and end up in Portuguese. Afterwards we came back to our house to look at pictures from his mission and visit. read more »
