"For love of country they accepted death..." - James A. Garfield

It’s getting to be summer here in Utah, perhaps too quickly, with highs in the upper 80s all week. But it’s perfect weather for fun outside. We spent a lot of leisure time this week enjoying the outdoors. We love this time of year. read more »

I ask that we stop refighting the battles and the recriminations of the past. I ask that we look now at what is right with America, at our possibilities and our potentialities for change and growth and achievement and sharing. It's been a fun week for us. Parties, no school, ultimate frisbee tournaments, good food, and great weather. It was nice to be able to spend the evenings this week just having fun. Even though Karl still has to study for the patent bar and work on the journal, he has plenty of time to do that (and clean a little) while Angela is at work. Then it's nothing but cooking (Karl's enjoying having time to experiment with recipes), exercise, and play during the evening. read more »
