This was a busy week for us. Karl did tons of editing. He’s also finishing a patent he started for the firm he worked with last summer.
Tuesday Angela went to her first photography class. She learned many basics about her camera. She also decided to try taking pictures of moving water. Karl helped Angela take a few cool pictures of water being poured from a glass. They turned out pretty neat. She also went to a Relief Society dinner. read more »

Angela turned 23 this week. For fifth year in a row. At least, that’s how old Karl thinks she looks. Her birthday was a great reason to have a lot of fun this weekend. Friday we ate at Outback. Mmmm, awesome blossoms. And then we came home and played games before heading out for a late night showing of “The Devil Wears Prada.” read more »

Angela only worked three days last week and really enjoyed that. She took Friday off to hang out with her friend Tina. They went to Wendy's, played Hunters and Gatherers, and hung out at Tina's. It was fun to spend some time with Tina and her little girl. She also signed up for a photography class through community education. She thought it would be fun to be able to take better pictures. Then on Thursday Karl surprised Angela with a new camera for her birthday (a week early, so we could use it at the reunion). It has a lot of interesting features, so she will have a lot to learn. read more »

Karl went back to school this week. It wasn’t too bad really. He has only 4 classes, and it works out that he has only one class on both Thursday and Friday. One of the classes is computer-based practice systems (building systems so people can do make their own legal forms with minimal help from attorneys). That hardly feels like work at all. Neither does Telecommunications. But Tax and Secured Transactions are going to require a lot of effort though. As are his ELJ Executive Editor responsibilities. read more »
