Karl’s done with law school! Well, this assumes that he does about a day of revisions on his paper, passed his Finals, and trains a replacement executive editor. But BYU seemed convinced enough on Friday to let him walk at the graduation ceremony. So it was a weekend of celebration.  read more »

Here we are painting Easter Eggs. They were only painted for 20 minutes before we cracked them all open to make deviled eggs, but it sure was a fun Saturday date activity.

After finishing his paper, Karl did some more work for the firm for the rest of the week. He might ought to have started studying for Finals (he has two this next week), but he’s decided he doesn’t care too much about them, as long as he passes.

Angela bought a cross-stitch for the baby’s room. It is red and blue and will include his name, birth date, and weight. It has been a long time since she has done a cross-stitch. So far she is really enjoying it.  read more »

Sixty-nine pages. That’s how long Karl’s paper ended up being by the time he turned it in this afternoon (Tuesday). It was 44 if you took out the 10 pt. font, single-spaced footnotes. Needless to say, he didn’t do much else this week. That’s also why we delayed sending out this letter.  read more »

Karl wasn’t up to much of anything besides his final paper. He has written more than 30 pages, but he is not finished. He is hoping to finish it by Wednesday.

Angela had her final book club on Tuesday. She is glad to have the responsibility of it over, but she will miss the visitors.  read more »

Angela started training a new employee in her department this week. The new employee will be doing a lot of the same things that Angela is doing, so it made sense for her to train him. It’s a little challenging, since he’s Haitian (English is not his first language), but he’s also a BYU grad and picks up on things pretty quickly. On top of the training, it was also a busy week for projects for her.  read more »
