Tuesday we had another Prenatal Class. We watched a couple of birth videos and a video on the epidural. We decided that we are grateful for our Mothers. It made Angela a little nervous, but it is too late to turn back now. We learned a tip on how to tell when it is time to go to the hospital. If Angela is happy about being in Labor, then we should probably wait. The class ran over, so the hospital tour will be next week. read more »

Angela had her first 5-day work week this week in since mid-May. Fortunately, it wasn’t as stressful as some of the last few weeks—probably because she got to work with a new, much more diligent trainee, instead of her old one. Karl meanwhile studied for the bar and worked on our soon-to-be-released website. We also did research on moving expenses. It looks like we’ll be fortunate enough to have all of our expenses covered by work, even packing. But who knew you had to be so careful about who you hired to move your stuff? read more »

After our fun Memorial Day Weekend, this week was pretty dull. Karl worked on the new website and on office actions for work. He received the materials (about two feet high) for the Bar review, so he is ready to dive into it next week.
Tuesday evening Karl played Frisbee. Angela found out that her trainee will be staying only until the end of June and that she will need to train someone else. Not a lot of time to train someone now, but she hopes it will go a lot better than with the first one. She is still amazed by how slow the first trainee is. read more »
