Karl and Angela Rees

We can’t believe how quickly these last few weeks went by.  The Monday and Tuesday before we left for Austin were a blur—Karl was working hard to finish up work projects while Angela was packing and making sure everything was ready for us to leave.  Karl managed to squeeze in one last game of Ultimate Frisbee though, and his team won for the first time in a long time. read more »

Karl worked a lot at the beginning of last week to get everything in order for the holiday. But we had a lot of fun hanging out together over the holiday. Wednesday night we played games with Wayne and Becky.  read more »

A week ago, Angela explained to me that she had no idea what to get me for Christmas.  I suspect this is partly because I tend to go out and buy "toys" that I want throughout the year, therefore taking away a lot of really good ideas, partly because a lot of things I want are kind of technical, and partly because what I like most about Christmas is being surprised by gifts that I didn't expect or that I didn't even know I wanted.  read more »
