We drove up to Brookings in mid-October for a two-day Columbus Day weekend campout in perfect weather. Brookings is mid-way between us and Susie (in Seattle), so she and Summer came down to camp as well. We camped next to a river, where we fished, threw rocks, napped, hiked, and just generally had lots of fun. We also made a visit to the nearby ocean. Thomas loved it, and Jonah didn't do too bad either.
