Have you ever noticed how, perhaps moreso than any other holiday, Americans obsess over making sure people have "a place to go" for Thanksgiving? This thought occurred to me in my interactions with co-workers last week? As with most holiday work-weeks, conversations inevitably turned to what we were doing for the holiday--but, more often than not, the discourse revolved around the question of "do you have a place to go for Thanksgiving" as opposed to "are you doing anything special for Thanksgiving." The time is drawing near when the sleep training will begin. What have you all done to get your child to sleep through the night and to have a regular nap schedule? There are so many ideas out there I am just curious as to what others I know have done. Currently I am trying to follow the 1 to 2 hour wake window during the day and dream feeding at night. On a good day, Thomas will get 3 to 4 naps. On a good night, he will sleep from 7:30 to 10:30 then 11:00 to 6:00 and finally 6:30 to 7:30. Thoughts, opinions, ideas, .... any comments I am sure will be interesting.
